if these walls could talk...

if these seedy walls
could talk
the talk
(as criminal lawyers)
someone
may be jailed
crucified

perhaps
a stone curtain may be rolled back
for
someone

to walk the walk

to live again

This is a really interesting take; it lends itself to different interpretations. Very cool, Gemma.

I love the idea of a stone curtain being rolled back, allowing victims the freedom to walk free again, safely.

I like this take on the prompt. Perhaps indeed.

I love the idea of a stone curtain and how the poem takes a turn toward resurrection.

Lovely allusions.

Yes! Interesting perspective...I suppose if those walls could talk they could tell stories that could be both good and/or bad depending on how a person looked at it!

It makes me wonder about all the secrets shared there and if once confessed they could be left there...a chance to walk out faith.

having been raised Catholic, I nevertheless didn't cotton to the idea of confession. perhaps one reason I am no longer... ~

To be a fly on the wall of a confessional. Talk the talk and walk the walk. Lol!
