an alternate gig...

she talks to rainbows
while my guitar gently weeps
great gig in the sky

toys in the attic
bullet with butterfly wings
bye bye symphony

Poetry form: haiku

NOTES
For something different,
I decided to play with song titles
and create two haiku
with swirling, surreal connections
(hence my image)

She Talks to Rainbows - Ramones (1995)
While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles (1968)
The Great Gig in the Sky - Pink Floyd (1973)
Toys in the Attic - Aerosmith (1975)
Bullet With Butterfly Wings - The Smashing Pumpkins (1995)
Bye Bye Symphony - Foxy Shazam (2010)

Beautiful! Especially adore how this poem opens with "rainbows and guitar" such pretty images revolve in my head.

This is such an interesting idea for the basis of a poem. Song titles are very poetic in themselves.

Clever way of doing it, Gemma! Didn't realize they are all song titles as they flow very smoothly! Very innovative take!

This is cool. I especially like "she talks to rainbows".

1st line - "Ha, reminds me of Ramones"
2nd line - "Wait, isn't that...?
3rd line - "Oh, I see what you're doing there!"

A "Found Poem" as double haiku, very creative, I'm loving the words and how it all came together. Very nicely done!
