Beyond the crumbles and webs of life...
Winged metal wings mean there is a heavy load to carry! Not many have the sustaining power to see things through! Nicely GemmaHank
washed out rocker finding a new way in life? maybe...ha...though my thoughts turn more to mourning the loss of life...and the unexpected colateral damage of war...so to me, they are sad
hey how is hubs doing? been a while since surgery...
These damaged metal wings do indeed feel heavy and remind us how fragile life is.
In some things it is very hard to find meaning.....if not impossible.
The power of words: these few lines sent shivers up my spine. You were inspired.
yes no meaning in senseless killing. ...damage metal wings remind me of the recent plane crash and loss of lives...
Nice write! The last lines were amazing! :)
Powerful and very thought provoking. This really hits hard and is very well done. Excellent.
A poignant and sad poem, Gemma. I think the Malaysia Air tragedies with terrorist acts underlying the disasters defy comprehension.
You brought this all together beautifully. Damaged wings cannot do their job of keeping us aloft.
Wow, this really leaves one thinking... So nicely written, Gemma! I like this.
Gave me things to think about -- lots said in a few lines.
